FREE Printable Holiday Wine Bottle Tags + Wine Gifting Ideas

Christmas word art bottle tags

FTC Disclosure

Once again, we turn to FB for inspiration.  I met a group of great people at ThinkTank in Denver just before Halloween and have been following them on FB and Twitter ever since.  This morning I awoke to these fabulous FREE printable holiday wine tag labels created by Jen Goode who teamed up with her friends at Wine Club Reviews & Ratings to give their readers an option other than the traditional wine bottle bag for Christmas gifting.  I love the labels and used to rely heavily on their wine merchant suggestions.  Truthfully, GreatGets suggestions no longer absolutely mirror theirs – most likely because with the help of lots of other Gets, we are slowly gaining confidence in our own selections and opinions.  For example, in our own list of top rated wine clubs, the The California Wine Club has jumped into the #1 rated spot usurping Cellar’s Wine Club from this coveted position. Not to say that Cellar’s is bad by any means, it is just that lately we have generally preferred the selection of boutique wines offered at The California Wine Club.  Additionally, we have been obsessed with picking up discounted wines at The Wine Spies and turning to Katie to pair them with artisan cheeses.

One more thought … save the bottles with beautiful or distinctive labels and pick up a few wine bottle candelabras to create conversation starting, festive centerpieces like the ones we used on our Thanksgiving tables.

Holiday gifting suggestion — if you don’t want to send a wine club membership, pick up a individual bottles from any of these merchants and then rather than spend the money on a so so bag or gift box, simply print one of these wine bottle labels so kindly offered by 100directions.com for free. She even suggests ways to save money on your printing costs – choose a label with a white background rather than one that is red or green. It will use way less ink!

Dare to be Great!
